>From my university, a minimal vpnc config works with the vpnc-connect
script. (Do note where I have removed actual entries for dummy entries
to preserve security)

(from /etc/vpmc/defaults.conf)
    IPSEC gateway unihostname
    IPSEC ID unigroupname
    IPSec obfuscated secret unihashedgrouppassword
    Xauth username myuniversityid
    Xauth password myuniversitypassword
    Local Port 0

So..I know what the group password is without the hash. With the network
manager connect script, i import the pcf file. I override the
username..so it sends that properly. I also enter the group password.
Which I don't think it sends.

^^ From the syslog, it is not sending a group password, encrypted or not. After
this, the last two entries repeat until timeout. I never get to Stage 3.
