Same problem here: gnome-terminal, gdebi package installer (the terminal window) shows strange fonts...seems to me as the fonts smoothing isn't working properly: i've tried with different dpi settings and different fonts, but i can see this issue only in those 2 apps. My monitor is a laptop lcd and my fonts were really nice in every app since some hours ago when i upgraded from gutsy to hardy...
