Some update or another must have fixed this. I hadn't tried to use sound in quite a while, but in mid-April played a CD. Both chassis speakers worked. That was in 7.10. Updated to 8.04 today (4-28) and get absolutely no sound from chassis speakers. Headphones work fine.
