** Description changed: In a new, updated, edgy install a movie playing a video with xine-ui - provides flawless video however the sound is not synced. + provides flawless video however the sound is not synced (lags). If played in gxine the video flickers every few seconds. When I attempted to watch a full movie the program froze after about 1/2 hour of playback. I've filed this separately, but thought it might be useful for debugging.
