i tried doing a dist-upgrade from dapper to hardy, it fails to comply
architecture: amd 64

# lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 6.06.2 LTS
Release: 6.06

# dpkg -l | grep update-manager
ii update-manager 0.42.2ubuntu22.2
GNOME application that manages apt updates

the problem:
command:
# update-manager -d &
[1] 7014
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/apt#
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/apt/__init__.py:17: FutureWarning: apt API not
stable yet
warnings.warn("apt API not stable yet", FutureWarning)
extracting '/tmp/tmpHvS3SQ/hardy.tar.gz'
authenticate '/tmp/tmpHvS3SQ/hardy.tar.gz' against
'/tmp/tmpHvS3SQ/hardy.tar.gz.gpg'
WARNING: Failed to read mirror file

so i see the hardy option, and check it, and i continue with the update

But it stops with these
