Hey GTengeneer. I think i read about your problem before. It's different to mine. I believe yours has something to do with your built-in WLAN device. Just read through the bug system here I can't find the right bug thread right now.
My problem isn't solved yet though. Just had a complete lockup just 5 minutes ago. Lost my data and had to turn the system off and start again. Guess I have to switch back to 7.10 or use windows. I have a friend with another Centrino Duo Notebook and EXCACT same issue. So I am 100% sure my hardware is not the cause.
