Probably should have said this earlier: When the USB HD is set to automount and I turn it on, the CPU power will shoot up to max on both cores despite being on powersave or dynamic. Applications will run, but at snails pace, and I usually have problems getting access to the internet. i.e chat messages either take ages to send or recieve, or fails to display on my laptop alltogether. Internet browsing is also either stopped or severly impared.
