Also confirmed on Thinkpad T41, running AR5005GS. 8.04 Hardy upgrade from Gutsy using the alternate CD. Mine shows up as "dev.wifi0.softled=0", run "sudo sysctl -w dev.wifi0.softled=1", the LED starts flashing. Editing /etc/sysctl.conf and adding dev.wifi0.softled=1, fixes the LED not working on reboot. Thanks!
