It's not working, but things have changed. With the Dapper KDE 3.5.5 packages, 'dcop kded mediamanager fullList' now lists the ipod:
-- /org/kde/mediamanager/fstab/devsda2mediaipod sda2 Hard Disk (sda2) true /dev/sda2 /media/ipod vfat false -- But entering ipod:/ in Konqueror still shows an empty folder. In media:/ , an entry "Hard Disk (sda2)" appears, but double clicking it results in an error: "Feature only available with HAL".
