Thanks for the clarification. You are right that the desktop controls
the localization settings of firefox, that was my mistake (you can tell
I am still learning!)

However, I don't think this bug should be reported as a Firefox bug,
because the Firefox package can not know your localization at the time
you are selecting it for installing. The language-support-nl package
takes care of spell checkers, dictionaries and such.

I am changing the status of this bug to confirmed and changing the
package name to language-support-nl.

Ralf, thanks for pointing out this bug, and let me know if you have any
further comments.
