I use "\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}" in my LaTeX file. I have no problem to produce proper output with PDFLatex (using Kile) and I use "real" Umlauts etc in my Bibtex file. I think in the year 2008 it should be possible to use unicode instead of \"{a} etc. The latex accent characters should be possible as an alternative or for backwards compatibility.
Just think, Epiphany or Firefox would only display รค, when ä is used and ignore unicode. -- pybliographer doesn't support UTF-8 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38708 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
