Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04
nautilus: Installed: 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu4 Candidate: 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu4 Version table: *** 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/stat Every once in a while after many hours I wittnessed that my mouse only displays weird traces on the monitor. I always resetted X11 to solve. Today I found out another solution. If I kill nautilus with "killall nautilus" on the command line nautilus reloads and the effect is gone when I switch back to X11 with ALT-F7. So I suppose some of the new stuff in nautlius 2.22 messes with the mouse. I now had this effect twice in a row (while writing this report) and every time the killing of nautilus was the solution. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nautilus crashes mouse (weird display) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226557 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
