I get the following message when trying to play back certain mov files: "constant samplesize & variable duration not yet supported! Contact the author if you have such sample file!" And here is the mov file: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/media2/eu-doubled.mov And all the videos on this page shows the same error message: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/program_d.html I'm using hardy. mplayer: 2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu13 (gstreamer(Totem) also fails to play these, but in a different way...
