Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-new
Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04 (Hardy Heron) 64bit desktop post-removal script returns error code 2 (dpkg-divert: «/usr/lib32/libGL.so.1»: No such file or directory) Once tried on a NVidia Geforce FX5500 graphics card, Compiz locks the computer and need to uninstall that driver. The next step was to disable the restricted driver with the restricted drivers manager. Now I can't install any package because of this error. I've tried with: sudo dpkg --configure -a And: sudo apt-get purge nvidia-glx-new ProblemType: Package Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed May 7 15:28:02 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ErrorMessage: el subprocés post-removal script retornà el codi d'eixida d'error 2 Package: nvidia-glx-new 169.12+2.6.24.12-16.34 PackageArchitecture: amd64 SourcePackage: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 Title: package nvidia-glx-new 169.12+2.6.24.12-16.34 failed to install/upgrade: el subprocés post-removal script retornà el codi d'eixida d'error 2 Uname: Linux 2.6.24-16-generic x86_64 ** Affects: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package -- package nvidia-glx-new 169.12+2.6.24.12-16.34 failed to uninstall https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/227742 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
