I have verified ubuntu-6.06.1-alternate-i386.iso downloaded from gulus.usherbrooke.ca against the MD5SUMS file from http://releases.ubuntu.com/dapper/MD5SUMS
It is correct. I also verified ubuntu-6.06.1-alternate-amd64.iso is correct too.
