Same problem here with Hardy (release, not beta), using Gaupol 0.12.3-1 package.
Here's what I get if I launch Gaupol from a terminal: Universal Encoding Detector not found; character encoding auto-detection not possible. /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gaupol/gtk/main.py:218: GtkWarning: gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed gtk.main() If I delete .recently-used.xbel I also get the: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gaupol/gtk/util.py:105: GtkWarning: gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed gtk.main_iteration() ..output, as per fhucho's report. I haven't spotted any similar problems with other apps (e.g. Gedit) that make use of .recently-used.xbel -- Gaupol freezes the system after I select "Open Recent" in menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/206183 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
