Sam, With my (old) GeForce4 MX 4000 board the X.org nv-driver works without a problem. I even succeeded to adapt the modeline command in the xorg.conf file to the resolution 0f 1440x900. I have to try the (old) 96.43.05 nvidia driver but I first have to solve another problem with U 8.04. Joep
