I thought that since it was fixed in debian 1:0.2.3dbs-58, it would not be there in 0.2.3dbs-62ubuntu9, but I found I was able to reproduce this with the gr.kmap file given in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=334691 . Also, adding charset "iso-8859-7" at the beginning of the file indeed removed the unknown keysym 'sygma', etc.
