I thought I'd asked for this eons ago in different bug reports. Agreed. reportbug serves no purpose whatsoever. What's the point of having a package that doesn't work at all?
Not only does it not work, but it leads many to believe that it does (by it's very existence). And how the Ubuntu users mailing list got into the code is a great mystery that I hope shall be solved someday. But in the meantime, this package does not belong in the Ubuntu archive.
