Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

After maybe a day I get "module-alsa-sink.c: Got POLLERR from ALSA" and
pulseaudio becomes unresponsive.

Trying to restart/kill pulseaudio fails as the process is in state D.

If there was some way to restart the audio this wouldn't be such a
problem but so far rebooting is the only way to get audio back.

** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
