I believe it's not necessary a hardware problem. In my case (HP NX6110)
it's probably some bug related with ipw2200/networkmanager and probably
also WPA/WPA2 (wpasupplicant), because I started using WPA yesterday and
at the same time my problems with USB started. Even more: when I
disconnect with my WPA AP and turn off wireless card (Intel Pro Wireless
2200) everything start working just fine. Really weird.
