For the (not so much) cooling fan : /proc/acpi/fan is empty. and no AC to be found in "trip_points".

What is bugging me is that, XP(still in dual boot) is managing to control the fan, using NHS. I'd really like to switch, but this ACPI/fan issue is critical to me.
