For the (not so much) cooling fan :
/proc/acpi/fan
is empty.
and no AC to be found in "trip_points".

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/proc/acpi/fan$ ls -l

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/proc/acpi/fan$ ls -l /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/*/trip_points

/proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/trip_points
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/proc/acpi/fan$ more /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/*/trip_points
critical (S5): 90 C
passive: 85 C: tc1=2 tc2=10 tsp=100 devices=CPU1

The fan has been cleaned (no dust).

What is bugging me is that, XP(still in dual boot) is managing to control the
fan, using NHS.
I'd really like to switch, but this ACPI/fan issue is critical to me.
Thanks for your/any input.
