You're right. After spending hours making the "not present" lines change to "present" (I've had a lot of strange behaviors after installing proprietary ati/amd from their installer, and then trying envy), I still have the last line :
"Comparing resolution (2560x1024) to maximum 3D texture size (2048): Failed" I tried to force compiz startup (echo "SKIP_CHECKS=yes" > ~/.config/compiz/compiz-manager), and ... in fact it runs but I only see artifatcs :p Well, is there any way to hack somewhere or to make only one screen out of the 2 compiz-enabled ? Or maybe running two compiz, synchronized, one for each screen ? Yeah yeah, I know, that's SF ... -- Compiz doesn't work with FGLRX https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229357 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
