I can confirm that since I installed bash (3.2-0ubuntu17) All choices in mu user list have disapeared. Nevertheless I did not notice any crash or hang when switching users ....
On one of my computers, I installed back the previous bash version (3.2-0ubuntu16) and the list is again filled with autorized users...
