In my start menu, octave shows up twice: in Education->Mathematics in Education->Science
I don't know if octave really belongs to Education (for me it would be a more scientific application than an educational one). But in every case, octave should only show up once (in my start menu octave is the one and only application in both of these sub-menus...).
