Me too. I have sheets created in earlier versions of OpenOffice calc which now display with grid lines missing in some areas of the sheets.
For me, this appears to be related to cell formatting; if I select a block of affected cells and delete just the formatting (using the Delete key and selecting only Formats in the pop-up menu) the grid lines reappear in that area.
