I too was rather disappointed when my Acer 5520 wireless didnt work with gutsy.
those of you who have an atheros 5006/7 may want to follow the latest
instructions on the madwifi site..i am not using ndiswrapper .... and the
madwifi module was not working for me in gutsy or hardy untill I read up on the
madwifi site...i am pleased to announce that my atheros wireless is working
just fine with the latest files from madwifi. Thanks guys. However it was after
some rather extensive research that i got it working. Fortunately i didnt have
to do all the research again when i upgraded a week ago. I did have to
reinstall the madwifi drivers but all is well.
I am no expert at computers, but i am smart enough to know what Billy is up to!

Peace among men (women too)
