Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-app-install
WINE's entry in the Add/Remove Programs List lists WINE as "Wine Windows Emulator." This is incorrect: WINE is a compatibility layer, not an emulator. In fact, the acronym "WINE" stands for "WINE Is Not an Emulator." This listing should be changed to "Wine Windows Compatibility Layer" or "Wine Compatibility Layer." ** Affects: gnome-app-install (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- WINE listed as "Wine Windows Emulator" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231532 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
