I have an A31 (product ID prefix 2652) and a same problem (backlight was turning on when suspending).
Adding the dpms_supend quirk and the radeon_off quirk by changing the 20 -video-quirk-pm-ibm.fdi file appropriately seems to fix the problem. Should I be adding the two s3 quirks too?
