Public bug reported:

I have a freshly installed Kubuntu Hardy with all the updates to date.
NV was working ok as it should, but when I used Jockey to switch to
NVIDIA-GLX-NEW I get weird behavior on 3D. The computer and Kubuntu is
behaving nicely until I introduce some 3D, like glxgears or OpenGL
screensaver. It flickers and tries constantly to change screen
resolution. Back and forth. I have no resolution forced in the XORG.

My card is Geforce 5200FX. Is there a way to query it if the card is ok?
Could be the card too, dunno. But better to open this bug here before I
scrap the card!
