Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bmpx

Bug found in musicplayer bmpx, version 0.40.13-2 installed from
Synaptic.

Ubuntu 8.04(32 bits), installed on sw raid 0(with ext3).

bmpx cant open any musicfiles when I go to BMP > Prefrences > Library tab > Add
new music
It gives this error:
"No volume for this path was found

BMPx' HAL backend was unable to identify on which volume this path is located.
The adding operation can not proceed."

There is indeed lots of music where I try to open, witch other
musicplayers can open just fine.

The error is the same as reported in bug 108162 for Ubuntu
Feisty(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bmpx/+bug/108162)

Please notice; I also installed bmpx on my 2Ubuntu box witch do not have
sw raid at all, and there I could add music in bmpx(but I don't know if
it can play the music since I am using it via NX server(free version)
witch cant transferee music.
