I have to clarify bug, because something has changed. Original behaviour mentioned in this bug is gone, I can choose Connection Information when I use NM for choosing and connecting to WiFi. However, it is greyed out when I have manual configuration in /etc/network/interfaces or via G-S-T network-admin.
FMartins, 'Unlock' button is new auth. thing, aka PolicyKit. Therefore you don't have to use gksudo to enter password. In fact, this is connected to somehow global differences between NM and G-S-T. -- [hardy] 'Connection Information' is greyed out in pop-up menu when right clicking on Network Manager applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197946 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
