Ahhh, thanks, works like a charm. Anyway I couldn't tell what the problem was so maybe Rhythmbox should be more advicive and explain why it can't play the files seen in the filelist and also point to a package solving the issue and maybe even suggest to install it...hmmmm I guess this became more of a feature request than a bugreport
