Public bug reported: If I select an audio track in Nautilus using the mouse, the audio preview starts because the mouse pointer is over the audio track icon. If I then press the DEL key, the track is sent to trash as expected, but the audio preview carries on playing. The only way to stop it is to kill the totem-audio-preview process.
Steps to reproduce: 1) Open Nautilus and click on an audio track (or click on a track on the desktop) 2) Pause briefly with the mouse cursor over the icon you've just clicked (this allows the audio preview to start) 3) Press the DEL key What do I expect to happen: After steps 1 and 2, the audio preview should start playing. When I press the DEL key, the file should go to trash and the audio preview should terminate What actually happens: After steps 1 and 2, the audio preview starts playing (as expected). When I press the DEL key, the file goes to trash (as expected) but the audio preview carries on playing (when I expected it to stop). I now have to open gnome-system-monitor and terminate the totem-audio-preview process Some information about my system: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ apt-cache policy nautilus nautilus: Installed: 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu6 Candidate: 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu6 Version table: *** 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu6 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Audio preview doesn't stop if you select an audio track in Nautilus and then press delete key https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235311 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
