Also confirmed on a toshiba P100 (T2300/Nvidia 7600 Go/wifi 3945abg/Gb eth intel): Was working using -16 kernel (with usual s3 bios/mode quirks in hal as this laptop also suffer from bios acpi bugs), never works with -17. On my side, /var/log/message shows that suspend hangs (and so, resume): Just after suspending PCI IRQ for 3945 abg wifi PCI ID (and before disk syncing: so bad!), suspend process hangs compared with successful suspends from -16 logs. Another bug from this iwl3945 driver buggy like hell (sensitivity, ap scans, missing auth modes...): Please, ubuntu team, send back old but reliable ipw3945! At least, give the choice!
