In case it matters -- I can confirm on a Sony Vaio pcg-z1vap. Suspend/resume/hibernate all work fine under 2.4.24-16, freezes on resume with 2.4.24-17. Ubuntu pushed -17, but if I boot to the -16 kernel via grub, keeping all else the same, everything works fine.
