Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libpulse0

Pidgin allocates the whole swap+ram after some time.

The problem can be solved to choose ALSA as audio output in Pidgins
settings.

So I presume a bug in pulseaudio.

I at first opened a ticket in pidgins bugtracker:
http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/5758

All necessary output files can be obtained there.

** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
