No more hardware in common, as my wireless is a Broadcom 4311 wich I finally manage to install with NDIWrapper. Could you please post the results you get with the mentioned kernel update? I don't know if I'll have time today to make the test but if I get some time I'll try with that too and see how it goes. I also readed that it could be a problem with ACPI or something.
