Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcalctool

Using the sequence described below, I can get gnome-calculator to start
burning 100% CPU cycles.

How to reproduce:

  1. start gnome-calculator:
  2. set modus to Scientific Ctrl-S
  3. type: .933821336!
  4. click: Rand

The expression should read: .933821336!Rand or ,933821336!Rand depending
on your locale settings

  5. click 'Enter'
  6. with the mouse select .933821336
  7. click 'Delete'
  8. watch CPU utilization go through roof.
