Hi Erik,
That didn't work for me sadly. 
I never had a touchpad problem.. Its just a long delay to resume, with the 
activation errors on the screen..


[xxxxxxxxx] drm_sysfs_suspend
 [xxxxxxxxx] i8042 kbd 000:06: activation failed
 [xxxxxxxxx] i8042 aux 00:007: activation failed
 [xxxxxxxxx] i8042 tpm_inf_pnp 00:0a: activation failed

where [xxxxxxxxx] is some floating point number that changes every time.
