i confirm this issue, it worked in hardy rc1 (i don't know about previous hardy 'versions') with kernel version 2.6.24-12. unfortunatly when the final release was there, suspend no longer worked, or at least the display doesn't wake up. latest kernel now is 2.6.24-18, with the same suspend issue.
