I can confirm Yannick's bug. citing: "Hello...I updated ubuntu, and now, when waking up, gnome appeares, I can launch every software I want, but the display is wrong. For example, when scrolling in firefox, only a few item moves: the first centimeter (~1/3 of an inche) at the bottom and at the top follow the scrolling up and down, but the text stays at the same spot. But when clincking anywhere on the page, it react the same way as if it has been scrolled down.."
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 (but it was the same with previous version) and Thinkpad r50e. If you need more information, please ask me for it. I hope you'll solve this.
