Hmm...I do not know what you mean by intrepid. And actually, I switched off Aptana, in favor of FlexBuilder, and had to install sun-java6-jdk (6-06-0ubuntu1) for it. I removed OpenJDK and I have not had a problem since then, even in Aptana.
