I have been using 2wire homeportal 1800HW with the Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG and about 2 weeks a go i upgrade the 2wire model and the problem go out!!! so i thing that the problem is a combination between the 2wire firmware and the iwl3945 and iwlwifi_mac80211 modules.
