Thank you for filing this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately you have not provided enough information to help us look into this bug. Can you please specify the version of knetworkmanager you are having in your computer?
By "restart" do you mean, clicking on shutdown icon and selecting restart from it, or shutting down the machine, waiting for sometime and then turning it on again? When you encounter the bug, does manually configuring the IP address works? If so, what happens when you shutdown the machine and start it after some time? In addition can you also follow https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager and attach the capture log to your log report as a separate individual attachment to the report. Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Network Manager cannot get IP from DHCP router https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237911 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
