I would like to second this. Octave is pretty much useless without the standard libraries provided in octave-forge. Everyone I know that uses octave on Ubuntu have downgraded back to 2.1 because of this, which is a shame considering that the 2.9/3.0 series is leaps and bounds better.
Is there an intentional reason for not packaging octave forge, or is it just that no one has found time to do it? -- [needs-packaging] octave3.0-forge https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212617 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
