Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

If I type something in the search bar (irrespective search engine
selected) and either hit enter or click on the magnifying glass icon,
nothing happens. If the leave it empty (so there is a greyed "Google")
and hit return, the current page goes to a google search page, as you'd
expect. I tried re-installing through Synaptic, which didn't help.

The search bar used to work until recently, a few days ago, perhaps.

This is Hardy, via webi.
