Hi mcas, well i have the mentioned bug with Ubuntu 8.04 and ive downloades 64bit edition but i was expecting this edition becose i use to try with ubuntu 7.10 but i had the following problem: first the ubuntu apears and i choose install then the message loading linux kernel then: *starting deferred execution scheduler Atd [Ok] *starting periodic command cheduler .... *.... *Running local boot scripts(/etc/rd.local) [Ok] the ubuntu logo with the loading bar and then display blinks about a minute then this message
The display server has been shut down about 6 times in the last 90 seconds. It is likely that something bad is going on.
