I have same problem when I try to upgrade from version 4.58.9-2ubuntu1 to 
4.58.9-2ubuntu1.2

jms% dpkg -l mailscanner

I have tried to solve this by editing script
/var/lib/dpkg/info/mailscanner.prerm but no luck so far...
