I just tested this with java-1.5.0-sun, java-6-sun and java-6-openjdk. Azureus works with all three.
Because the /usr/bin/azureus script doesn't honor the java alternative setting (it hardcodes several paths in the script) you have to be careful to run it like so:- % export AZUREUS_JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/JAVA/jre/bin/java % azureus And you also have to be careful to exit the old Azureus process each time you relaunch the app. Doing so it runs with all three implementations. ** Changed in: sun-java5 (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- azureus-> java: xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/86103 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
